Art 634 Exhibit

This Sunday from 2-4 PM I'll be at art 634 for a meet and greet. My flower paintings are up all month, including the date of the spectacular Fairy Festival. On Saturday the 24th is the 3rd Annual Fairy Festival from 11-5 PM. There will be lots of things going on for kids, and all kinds of cute Fairy artwork. Don't miss it! 634 Mechanic Street, Jackson.

RED

http://redcrossart.com/artists

Check it out! Cara and I donated art to the Red Cross "RED" event. Mary and Mary Lou also donated!

I donated the Crabapples in the snow, and Cara donated her quilted, pregnant sculpture.

Yeah! What a great event!

Arts Alive in Coldwater!

This is a picture of the American Gothic Mural I participated in. My tractor is just about in the middle. This was at the opening reception.

At this site you can see my blue quilt painting of Cara :) I was excited to see that they posted it here.

Arts Alive in Coldwater is doing so many great things. I've been happy that I could be involved in some of their exhibits.

Tues. -new paintings

I don't think these are done yet. I will be fiddling with them some more at some point. I will probably redraw quite a bit of the skates, and add more layers to the background. I'm thinking about adding words or music, or something... we'll see.

Oakwood Hospital

...coming in May. My work will be up at Oakwood Hospital on Telegraph. It will be in the hall on the way to the cafeteria. I'm not sure yet what I will put there- maybe the summer flower series...

Java N Jazz

Had fun last night! Java N Jazz coffee house had great music, and they were full to capacity! They kept dragging in more and more chairs! I really appreciated those who came and enjoyed the event! It made it lots more fun to have my buddies there :) The owner commented on what nice friends we have! So true!

Java N Jazz set up!

Setting up Thursday night...
Mercedes and Mark Hunt- owners of Java N Jazz
Cara and Mercedes looking over a book of designs.

I really like how my Java N Jazz paintings look all in a row :). "Java the Hunt" had a mighty fine eye leveling these on a thumbtack!
As usual, the master hanger is hard at work. Thanks Jamie!
This coffe house is super cute, and oh so cool! I hope to see you there tonight!
