Art Shows!

Art show at Baker college is up! and I delivered paintings today to Art 634 for the ArtPrize in Jackson show coming in a few days.

This is the diptych I have been working on forever! I'm getting pretty close to being done- Last night I worked the leaves some more- I added a couple detail views. I'm really liking the maple leaves. The tree needs more detail, and the sky color needs to be brought up some more... I can't wait to work more on it!

Monday Night Class

This class is awesome!  These are their underpaintings so far.  Pretty incredible- and they told me they were beginners...

Class at Jackson School of the Arts

I started teaching a painting class for adults at the Jackson School of the Arts last Monday. I'm really looking forward to next week! We are going to work on a couple of different approaches to beginning a painting. Should be fun :)
